Braly's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In Broomfield Eagles Varsity's Victory Over Legacy

A walk-off single led Broomfield Eagles Varsity past Legacy 3-2 on Thursday. Broomfield trailed 2-1 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Elyana Braly singled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.

The pitching was strong on both sides. The Eagles pitchers struck out eight.

Broomfield got things started in the first inning when Caylie Eiguren singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Ireland Heer took the win for Broomfield. Heer went two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out two, and walking zero. Breeana Fiala started the game for Broomfield Eagles Varsity. The pitcher allowed eight hits and two runs over six and a third innings, striking out six and walking zero

Kiley Wheaton went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Broomfield Eagles in hits.
