Broomfield Eagles Varsity put up five runs in the fourth on its way to a 9-2 victory over Cherry Creek on Thursday. Ireland Heer, Caylie Eiguren, and Charley Pitrat all drove in runs in the frame.

The Eagles got on the board in the first inning when Heer doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. They put up five runs in the fourth inning. The offensive onslaught was led by Heer, Eiguren, and Pitrat, all driving in runs in the frame.

Heer was the winning pitcher for Broomfield. The righty went seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out seven.

They saw the ball well today, racking up ten hits in the game. Eiguren, Heer, and Avery Gines each collected multiple hits for Broomfield. Eiguren went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the way.

Broomfield stole the lead late in the game in a 5-4 victory over Rocky Mountain on Tuesday. The game was tied at four with the Eagles batting in the top of the seventh when Breeana Fiala singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Rocky Mountain took an early lead in the first inning.
Broomfield evened things up at four in the top of the sixth inning. Jenna Kapelke doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Fiala got the win for Broomfield. Fiala went seven innings, allowing four runs on four hits and striking out ten. Caylie Eiguren led the team with three hits in four at-bats.

Breeana Fiala didn’t allow a single run against Ralston Valley, throwing a complete game shutout and leading Broomfield to a 10-0 victory on Saturday

The Eagles opened up scoring in the first inning. Fiala’s sac fly scored one run.

Broomfield notched five runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Caylie Eiguren, Ella Anderson, and Lily Zamudio.

Fiala earned the victory in the circle. The right-hander surrendered zero runs on three hits over five innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Broomfield racked up 12 hits. Ireland Heer, Elyana Braly, Eiguren, and Zamudio each managed multiple hits. Zamudio, Eiguren, Braly, and Heer each managed two hits to lead the team.

Broomfield Eagles stayed in it until the end, but Douglas County pulled away late in a 6-3 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at three with Douglas County batting in the bottom of the fifth when Macee Taylor’s sac fly scored two runs for Douglas County.

They tallied nine hits in the game. Elyana Braly, Caylie Eiguren, and Fiala each collected multiple hits for the Eagles. Fiala, Eiguren, and Braly each collected two hits to lead Broomfield.
