Ireland Heer hurled a perfect game on Tuesday to lead the Broomfield Eagles past Northglenn 16-0. Heer struck out Rachael Guerro to end the game.

Broomfield opened up scoring in the first inning. Caylie Eiguren drove in two when Eiguren singled.

Heer led the Eagles to victory in the pitcher’s circle. The pitcher went three innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out eight and walking zero.

Broomfield Eagles Varsity smacked one home run on the day. Lauren Martinez had a long ball in the third inning. Jenna Kapelke led Broomfield with two hits in three at-bats. They didn’t commit a single error in the field. Martinez had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.

Broomfield Eagles Varsity defeated Chatfield 6-3 on Monday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with Broomfield batting in the top of the fifth when Elyana Braly doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Chatfield scored three runs in the first inning, but the Eagles still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Chatfield came thanks to a triple by #7, an error on a ball put in play by #9, and a double by #3.

Broomfield evened things up at three in the top of the second inning. Avery Gines’s sac fly scored one run.

Breeana Fiala took the win for Broomfield. The right-hander went seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out 12, and walking one.

The Eagles racked up eight hits in the game. Lauren Martinez and Caylie Eiguren each had multiple hits. Eiguren and Martinez each collected two hits to lead Broomfield.

Broomfield Eagles Varsity defeated Loveland 5-4 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. Broomfield trailed 4-3 in the top of the seventh inning when Caylie Eiguren doubled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring two runs.

Breeana Fiala took the win for Broomfield. Fiala surrendered zero runs on two hits over three innings, striking out two and walking one. Ireland Heer started the game and allowed three hits and four runs over four innings, striking out five.

the Eagles tallied nine hits. Kiley Wheaton and Arreana Rivera each had multiple hits. Wheaton went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Broomfield in hits.

The Eagles had all cylinders firing on offense on Tuesday, winning big over Poudre 12-2

Poudre got things started in the first inning when Loryn Kintzley doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. In the bottom of the first inning, Broomfield tied things up at one when Lauren Martinez lined out, driving in a run. Broomfield pulled away for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Brooke Moore induced Caylie Eiguren to hit into a fielder’s choice, but one run scored.

The Eagles notched five runs in the sixth inning, led by Ireland Heer, Avery Gines, Jenna Kapelke, and Arreana Rivera, all driving in runs in the frame.

Breeana Fiala earned the win for the Eagles. The right-hander surrendered two runs on two hits over five innings, striking out 11 and walking zero. Heer threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Broomfield totaled ten hits. Heer and Elyana Braly all managed multiple hits. Heer went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Broomfield Eagles Varsity in hits.

Late Score Costs Broomfield Against Holy Family

Broomfield Eagles Varsity stayed in it until the end, but Holy Family pulled away late in a 5-4 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at four with Holy Family batting in the top of the sixth when E Contraquez singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

Ireland Heer took the loss for Broomfield. The righthander went two innings, allowing one run on four hits and walking one.
