Kenzi Garner had all the right stuff on Saturday for Broomfield Eagles Varsity, allowing zero runs and besting Columbine by a score of 11-0

Broomfield Eagles Varsity scores more runs than Chatfield, takes victory on Friday to the tune of 4-2

Broomfield Eagles Varsity tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Chloe Eiguren and Izabella Mikelson each drove in runs during the inning.

Big Fourth Inning Propels Broomfield Eagles Varsity Win Over Arvada West

Broomfield Eagles Varsity knocked in seven runs in the fourth on its way to a 10-2 victory over Arvada West on Friday. The offensive firepower by Broomfield Eagles Varsity was led by Elizabeth Thorngren, Bryna Kapelke, Hadlee Reichert, and Chloe Eiguren, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Broomfield Eagles Varsity got on the board in the first inning. Kenzi Garner drove in one when she singled.

Broomfield Eagles Varsity notched seven runs in the fourth inning. Thorngren, Kapelke, Reichert, and Eiguren each had RBIs in the frame.

Maycee Bricker was the winning pitcher for Broomfield Eagles Varsity. She allowed three hits and two runs over four innings, striking out one and walking zero. Garner threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Broomfield wins the Season Opener
5A: (9) Broomfield 5, (6) Rocky Mountain 3

Kenzi Gardner led the way for Broomfield in the Win.

At the plate, the senior tripled and homered as part of a 3-4 day at the plate She drove in two runs and scored three herself.

In the circle, Gardner there a complete game, striking out nine.

Chole Eiguren was 3-for-3 for the Eagles, and had an RBI. Claire Comstock also drove in a run.
